The High Andes Tour is a premium 9 day backcountry skiing expedition through Chile's iconic High Andes ski corridor, one of the most concentrated collections of high altitude terrain in the world. From the Three Valleys above Santiago to the legendary couloirs of La Parva, exclusive cat skiing at El Arpa, and summit of the Super C Couloir above Portillo, this is Chilean backcountry skiing at its very finest. Based primarly in the boutique mountain village of Farellones, with mid-trip accommodation at Casa San Regis and the legendary Hotel Portillo. Every Day brings a different mountain venue, a different challenge, and a different reason to remember this trip forever. Itinerary Day 1: Santiago - Farellones Arrival to Santiago Airport, guide meets you at arrivals. Trasfer up to Farellones lodge. Afternoon half-day ski in the Three Valleys to shake off the travel. Welcome briefing and gear check. Stay Farellones. Day 2★: Valle Nevado Ski tour to Laguna Piuquenes, 3,600m. Astunning high altitude objective above the resort with breathaking views across the Andes. Return to lodge. Stay Farellones. Day 3★: El Colorado Ski the Santa Teresa line, possibly multiple laps using transport between runs. One of the Three Valley's great sustained descents. Return to lodge. Stay Farellones. Day 4★: La Parva Ski tour to La Chimenea Couloir, 3,573m - 3,630m. A classic steep Andean line requiring precision and commitment. Return to lodge. Stay Farellones. Day 5★: El Arpa Cat Skiing Transport through Los Andes to El Arpa Cat Skiing exclusive, world-class cat skiing with access to untracked powder terrain far above the lift network. Multiple runs in pristine snow. Evening transfer to Casa San Regis. Stay Casa San Regis. Day 6: Portillo Morning drive to the legendary Hotel Portillo at 2,880m above Laguna del Inca. Afternoon; half-day skiing inbounds or easy ski touring to settle in and survey the terrain. Stay Hotel Portillo. Day 7★: Portillo - Super C The expedition's defining day. Ski tour and climb the Super C Couloir. Portillo's legendary steep line, one of the most celebrated descents in South America. An objective that demands everything and delivers more.
